On August 31, 2025, it was reported to Rabbi Ron Hendler from the Beth-Din of Johannesburg, that a fraudulent letter was issued to assist the daughter of Chaya David to attend “Amana”, an Orthodox Jewish School in Kfar Saba, Israel. The letter states that Montana, “was born from a Jewish mother”, a complete lie. Montana is actually Portuguese, Catholic. The Beth-Din has issued no response and continues a “rush” conversion despite this fraud. They have refused to consequence Rabbi Haller, the writer of the letter as well.
In addition to the fraud, Chaya David is involved in pornography used to seduce married men, she has a fake conversion from Israel, she aborted a baby claiming it was a miscarriage and then extorted $3,000 from her husband. A psychologist report from her prior divorce (she’s divorced twice) claims she is unstable. Chaya’s father, Jeffrey Anthony David also has a fake conversion from Israel and a criminal history including attempted murder with a gun, as well as 2 assault charges on his wife. Chaya’s sister, Nadine alias Mushky, did a fake conversion in Israel, made aliyah, then purposely got pregnant and returned to South Africa stealing the Aliyah money and kidnapping her baby daughter. Now, the Jewish community of Johannesburg is supporting these people. Despite all of this, the Beth-Din is rushing to do conversions and welcoming these known criminals into their community placing everyone at risk.
