In an attempt to cover up the fact that the Beth-Din allowed a non-Jewish student into Yeshiva College, Mikayla Thomas (alias Shoshana David), they are providing a “quick fix” to their exposure. Instead of removing the student for lying to the Jewish Community and jeopardizing the students, Charisse (Chaya) David and her daughter Mikayla are being converted immediately. This directly contradicts the Beth-Din’s Conversion Policies (pictured below) a MINIMUM 2 Year program. It compromises the integrity of the program and calls to question the ethics and morals of the entire Beth-Din. They are rewarding fraud and punishing those who expose the truth. Simply stated, the biased decision making of the Beth-Din is actually exclusionary not inclusionary as they claim. They are offering preferential treatment to people at will. This negligence can not be trusted.
On July 12, 2025, Rabbi Ron Hendler from the Beth-Din reported that the family was REFUSED (message below). However, it is now indicated that a conversion of this family has been performed just 6 weeks later defying the MINIMUM 24 Months indicated below.
