It has been revealed that the David family including Jeffrey, Dawn and Chaya have borrowed thousands through the Jewish Community of Johannesburg as part of a scheme claiming they are Jewish. They planted themselves in the heart of the Jewish Community at the “Genesis” building and in Yeshiva College through the help of Rabbi Dovid Haller and Rabbi Ron Hendler of the Johannesburg Bet Din. They surreptitiously then began borrowing money from unsuspecting people willing to help and initiated all kinds of fraudulent businesses that do not exist. Due to exposure through the media, pressure was placed on them to abruptly abandon their rental at “Genesis” and flee to their home in Umhlonga worth nearly 11 million. Chaya David was left behind at the David’s second residence located at 2A Tregoning Street, 2 Inthaba View, Linksfield to keep watch of the property and assist her family remotely in their fraudulent schemes. Both of these properties are owned mortgage free, despite there appearing to mortgages in place, this is also fake.
